However, I did find that having just one socket apart from the kettle was a bit limiting. The location was brilliant, nestled in a valley near a beautiful lake surrounded by breathtaking mountains, providing great lakeside views and plenty of recreational facilities. The service was top-notch, with the friendly staff being efficient in every way, even remembering us from a previous stay years ago. The dining experience was definitely 'continental', leaning towards sweet rather than savory, but still extremely good. The hotel facilities were impressive, including a lovely outdoor jacuzzi and relaxing spa area.
